We often think life writes our stories, but in reality, it’s us—and the people around us—who shape them.
Unfortunately, people can be both the authors and the main characters in these narratives. And while you may have the choice to step away from a story, little furry souls like Alberto don’t always have that luxury.
While it’s heartbreaking that some people can abandon or harm an animal, it’s just as uplifting to know that there are kind-hearted humans who would do anything to save a helpless creature—like the adorable dog in this story.

A Box Of Hope
Discovering a tiny pup abandoned in a box by the very people he trusted is a heartbreaking sight for anyone with a heart.
Alberto, a small but resilient dog, endured the harsh reality of being left alone in the middle of nowhere—suffering from a worm in his eye, likely the very reason he was discarded. Yet, against all odds, he fought to survive.

Fortunately, a team of kind-hearted people from Paticasporayudar, including the compassionate woman featured in The Paws Show’s video, found the pup and immediately stepped in to help.
She was devastated by his condition and deeply hurt by the fact that he had been abandoned when he needed care the most.
“Who could have a heart so cold to do this? I can’t leave him alone.”
Holding the fragile pup in the cardboard box, she pleaded for help from kind souls, a moment that was just as heartbreaking for me to witness.
But what followed in the video brought relief—Alberto’s journey to recovery.
Thanks to the love and care of these good humans, his box of misery transformed into a box of hope.

Alberto’s Road To Recovery
In addition to being malnourished and in overall poor condition, Alberto faced another serious health challenge—eye worms.
This type of infection is typically caused by flies that feed on a dog’s tears and lay eggs in the eye. Alberto’s eye was already infected, but thanks to a skilled veterinarian who performed surgery and removed the maggots, he was spared from blindness.
The incredible team at Paticasporayudar did everything in their power to ensure Alberto’s safety and well-being. Their joy was immeasurable when this little pup finally opened his eyes and began eating—a heartwarming moment, though not surprising, given how lovable this furry fighter is.

From A Bare Survivor To A Playful Puppy
Looking at Alberto today, it’s hard to believe the hardships he endured. His playful spirit and boundless energy are proof of just how special he is—and a reminder that every animal in need is worth saving.

He loves spending time with his rescuers and furry friends, running around and soaking up all the cuddles. And it seems he has found his forever human, too—at least according to the heartfelt words of his savior:
“Here, we continue with Alberto’s recovery, progressing little by little, but surely. Every day, he gets better. My beautiful doll, my love, my tender, small, noble, and sweetly pampered child.”

Although this story starts with heartbreak, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing an abandoned, sick pup finally living his best life.
