When two experienced rescuers arrived, they initially couldn’t find the dogs. Then, they glanced over the wall separating the road from a steep drop—and there she was.
Below the fence, a frightened mother dog lay curled up in the bushes, shielding her tiny puppies with her body. Fear was evident in her eyes, but so was desperation—she needed help.
Reaching the stranded canine family was no easy task. With no clear path, one rescuer bravely made her way down with the help of her colleague, determined to reach them.
Moving cautiously to avoid startling the mother, she approached with care. Knowing the exhausted Mama had been nursing her puppies nonstop, she offered some food, hoping to earn her trust.
