One such inspiring story comes from Florida. Noelle, a two-legged pup, has faced challenges her entire life but has never given up. From the moment she was born, this miracle dog has been defying the odds—and she has no plans to stop!

Cheri and Ward Wells, devoted dog lovers and longtime special-needs dog rescuers with LoveyLoaves in Orlando, Florida, received a life-changing call about Noelle five years ago.
It was the day before Christmas Eve when a family reached out about a litter of Chihuahua puppies born with birth defects. Among them was tiny Noelle, just a few weeks old, born without front legs.
Rejected by her mother and left without care, the family decided to surrender her to a shelter. Without hesitation, Cheri and Ward stepped in, welcoming Noelle into their foster home—and into their hearts.

“It’s much too early for her to be separated from her mom, but the alternatives were not good. So we named our new Christmas angel Noelle and have been bottle-feeding her around the clock, showering her with love,” LoveyLoaves shared in a heartfelt Facebook post.
From day one, Noelle required constant care. She needed formula every few hours, and Cheri and Ward dedicated themselves to ensuring this tiny pup received all the love and support she needed.
A few weeks later, Noelle began experiencing trembling, vomiting, and shortness of breath. Concerned for her health, Cheri and Ward started nebulizer treatments to prevent pneumonia. However, just days later, tests revealed the real issue—Noelle had a dairy intolerance.
Relieved that it wasn’t a serious condition, the couple adjusted her diet, and with that hurdle behind her, Noelle was finally ready to embrace her puppyhood to the fullest!

At first, Noelle struggled to move, only inching and pushing herself around. Cheri and Ward weren’t sure how she would ever get around on her own.
Determined to help, they came up with the idea of getting Noelle a set of specially designed wheels. They wanted to introduce her to mobility early so it would feel natural—and they were right!
Although it took her some time to adjust, Noelle quickly embraced her wheels as if she had always been born with them!

At last, Noelle began running outside, playing with other dogs, and fully enjoying her newfound freedom. Watching her move (almost) without obstacles was an emotional and heartwarming sight.
One of her biggest milestones was learning to eat from an elevated food dish—a small but significant victory.
Once a timid pup unsure of her surroundings, Noelle transformed into a confident, adventurous girl. She found her inner strength and quickly became the boss of the house.
She even started hopping onto the bed, eagerly seeking cuddles from her loving pawrents!

Having become such an irreplaceable part of their lives, Cheri and Ward knew they could never let Noelle go. This inspiring little Chihuahua became the sweetest “foster fail,” finding her forever home right where she belonged—by her mom and dad’s side.
Today, Noelle continues to steal hearts everywhere she goes. She has even taken on a new role as a special-needs dog ambassador, proving that resilience and love can overcome any obstacle!
