Flipflop’s journey began with hardship. Just days old, this tiny furball was left all alone when his mother rejected him. With a front leg deformity and barely clinging to life, every breath was a battle.
Then, a miracle happened!

From the moment he was taken in, Flipflop began to thrive. He quickly latched onto the bottle, eagerly drinking his meals, and started gaining weight day by day.
“Other than the obvious deformity of his front left leg, he appears to be very healthy with a great appetite,” the team at Bosley’s Place shared on Facebook, celebrating his remarkable progress.
The dedicated team at Bosley’s Place monitored Flipflop’s progress around the clock. And within just weeks, this once-rejected little boy blossomed into a happy, healthy pup, proving that love and care can work true miracles!
Flipflop quickly began socializing, making new friends among the other rescue pups. His unbelievably charming personality made him the center of attention in no time!
Playing and romping around with his fellow doggos, he embraced every moment with pure joy—living as if his difficult past had never existed.
Still, one question lingered in his caregivers’ minds. With his deformed leg, they faced a tough decision—should they proceed with amputation to prevent potential infection, or was there another way to ensure Flipflop’s best future?

Then, as Flipflop grew older, the answer became clear!
A vet confirmed that this tiny fighter—who turned out to be a full-blooded toy Poodle—didn’t need surgery after all.
“He’s getting around just fine, it doesn’t bother him whatsoever, and because he’s not a 60+ pound dog, he’s not dragging it, so there’s no risk of infection… He gets to keep the leg,” Bosley’s Place shared on Facebook, celebrating the best possible outcome for their little warrior.

As soon as Flipflop was cleared for adoption, wonderful news arrived—his perfect family had found him!
Nikki and her family, devoted dog lovers, decided to welcome Flipflop into their home. The team at Bosley’s Place couldn’t have been happier. Seeing their tiny buddy embark on a new chapter was heartwarming, and knowing he was going home with Nikki brought a sense of joy and relief to everyone!
This incredible family didn’t stop there! Along with Flipflop—now lovingly named Butters—they opened their hearts and home to two more special-needs pups, Griff and Henry. Their kindness and compassion gave these deserving dogs a second chance at a happy life!
