In a quiet, almost forgotten village, an elderly family lived peacefully with their two beloved dogs, Tia and Tori.
Sadly, life took a harsh turn as medical and financial struggles made it increasingly difficult for them to care for their cherished pups.
Despite their best efforts, the family had no choice but to surrender Tia and Tori to their local shelter, hoping it would offer the dogs a better life than they could provide.

When animal rescuers arrived to pick up the pups, Tia and Tori were far from welcoming.
Understanding how deeply they loved their owners and how unfamiliar they were with strangers, the rescue team chose to earn their trust first before gently guiding them to the car.

With their owners’ help, Tia and Tori were soon settled into kennels and driven off to the shelter, marking the start of their new life.
At The Shelter
As soon as Tia and Tori arrived at the Howl Of A Dog shelter, they needed time to adjust to their new surroundings.
Tori, especially, was frightened and kept trying to hide from the world.

Their behavior stemmed from a lack of socialization, and with everything around them feeling unfamiliar, the pups didn’t know how to react.
Still, the shelter staff refused to give up on them, determined to show Tia and Tori how good life could be.
Noticing that one of the pups was malnourished and even limping, they decided the best first step was offering some delicious food.

Even though they refused to eat, the incredible hoomans were determined to change their life completely.
Brand-New Pups
After just ten days at the shelter, Tia and Tori began to come out of their shells, revealing their true, joyful personalities.
Tia even had to undergo surgery for an old femoral head fracture, but her incredible recovery didn’t dim her spirit. She spent her days with a smile on her face, embracing her new life.

Tori stayed by Tia’s side throughout her recovery, proud of her sister’s bravery every step of the way.
Now, the two doggo siblings are enjoying life at the Howl Of A Dog shelter while the staff works hard to find them a loving home—one that will cherish and appreciate them, just as they deserve.
